H8069LINEARHEATDETECTION(LHD)(176°C,249°FNominal)GeneralTheproventechnologyofdigitalLinearHeatDetection(LHD)cable,makesitaproductofchoicefordifficultandchallengingapplicationswhereothertechnologiesstruggletowork.Withit’seaseofinstallationandlowmaintenanceitalsoprovidesacosteffectivesolutionwhereprojectexpenditurerequirestobekeptataminimum.ThesensingcableisformedfromapairoftwistedsteelconductorseachwithtemperaturesensitiveinsulationandthenanoverallPVCoutersleeve.Whenthetemperaturesensitiveinsulationreachesit’spredeterminedalarmtemperaturethetwoconductorsshorttogetherprovidingthedigitalorswitchedsignal.Thecablecanbeconnectedtoanyunitcapableofmonitoringaswitchedsignal,i.e.Conventionalfirepanel,addressableswitchmonitorunitorPLC.ThePVCoutersleeveoftheH8069offersgoodUVresistanceallowingittobedeployedinexternalapplications.
